"General Board" means... what now?

So I'm just sitting here, avoiding using the evil contraption humans have dubbed "the can opener", looking through this board. And a question popped into my head:

Just what, exactly, are the specifics for each board? Shouldn't there be some form of guidelines for what should, and shouldn't, go into each various roleplay board?

And yes, I know, that's a rather dumb question as most people should understand everything... But I guess I'm just way too used to each individual board spoon-feeding you it's guidelines.

i agree, lots of peeps (me in example) don't know exactly what all the categories entail... spoon feeding aside it is just easier to list it out and avoid tons of questions later....

I know we're not stupid, but come on. There should be what you want in each board posted. A "literate" roleplay would go in the Roleplays section, Crack Plays would just be... well, whatever the heck you felt like posting... but, what is a chat play? Is that where you go Name1:Words, Name2:Words or -Internetusername-:WORDS ? It can be either, or both.... or kittens. Them kittens weasel their way into everything.

Chatplay is roleplaying/chatting roleplaying as yourself basically...
